I found this amazing article about a form of reiki — celestial reiki. I’m trying to look up more information about it, but I thought I’d share it with our healing community first.

Celestial Reiki – A Message From The Heavens

Let’s break the concept down into simpler explanations. If you don’t know what Reiki is, in a nutshell, it is a technique or a spiritual practice that is used to heal. In simpler terms the practice reduces stress and induces deep relaxation, among other benefits.

The technique was developed by Japanese Mikao Usui and was primarily intended as a form of therapy that could be used in tandem with conventional techniques for treating physical, emotional and mental illnesses. It is a healing technique.

The concept of celestial Reiki is the same. But instead of having a spiritual experience limited here on Earth, one who practices celestial Reiki takes into account the other planets of the solar system as well as stars and constellations, particularly the star constellations of the 12 signs of the zodiac.

According to the teachings of Reiki, there’s an energy that can be channeled to help heal diseases. This energy is universal and flows within us as our “life force”. This life force energy dictates our feelings and dispositions. The more active the energy flows through us, the healthier and happier we become.

With celestial Reiki, the “life force” that is used to heal in ordinary Reiki is taken further. The earth’s core “life force” energy is used to heal the mind, body and soul. And since all planets and star systems emit a particular “life force” signature, celestial Reiki practitioners harness that energy and use the energy from the celestial bodies to heal the human body.

Reiki treatment involves the whole body. This includes the body’s physical state and its emotional, intellectual and, of course, the spiritual well being. When you look at it, Reiki is a simple self-improvement technique. And since the “life force” energy it teaches is said to be present in all things, anybody can use this energy to heal and promote recovery.

It’s not limited to individual energy, but encompasses the universe. This is why the “life force” energy in Reiki is infinite. And regardless of how many times or how many people use it, the “life force” energy can always be utilized to heal.

However, Reiki is not taught but rather the ability is transferred by a Reiki master to his student during the stage of what they call “attunement.” At this level, the Reiki master passes the ability of Reiki to a student allowing hem to tap to the “life force” energy which will give him the ability to heal wounds and illnesses and generally improve one’s quality of life.

One need to emphasize, however, that Reiki is not a religion. Instead, those who practices Reiki get more intimate with their own religion, understanding and enriching their own religious beliefs. A Reiki practitioner has to promote the way of good living in order to master the flow of the “life force” and promote harmony and peace for true healing to happen.

Going back to celestial Reiki, what we currently know about the solar system and stars is given a new light by practicing this form of Reiki.

Understand that the universe’s “life force” energy can be channeled it into one’s hands to heal not only on the individual level but eventually heal the whole planet as well. And by connecting with each planet and star system, Reiki practitioners are able to accomplish such feat.

While doing some research on how Reiki healing can be used as a complementary therapy for cancer, I came accross this amazing story of courage, hope and success! I am sure all of you will get inspired.

Reiki Healing and Breast Cancer

This is a story of courage, hope and success in one woman’s healing from breast cancer.

By nature I am a practical and cautious person. My educational background is in science, I hold a B.S. in zoology and a Ph.D. in microbiology. Serious illnesses have transformed my life in unexpected ways, drawing me into the world of complementary medicine.

Using my own combination of therapies, I was successful in healing from multiple sclerosis. In June of 1996 I was diagnosed with two different cancers, one in each breast. At the time I was only 44 years old and had few major risk factors for breast cancer.

After much consideration I chose to combine conventional medicine with my own blend of unconventional therapies. I integrated surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, Reiki, spiritual connection, energy balancing, visualization, psychotherapy, affirmations and yoga. I formed a healing circle for family and friends who sent me positive energy and prayers. At every stage I used Reiki, sometimes in quite unusual ways. I never felt helpless because I could use Reiki, regardless of what was happening to me.

I used Reiki directly on the larger tumor, which did not vanish, but according to the pathology report, the cancer was breaking down. There could be other explanations besides Reiki, but it was an intriguing finding.

Reiki As A Complement To Cancer Treatments

When I first took Reiki Level 1 & 2, I never dreamed I would be using it extensively on myself. My wife Susan, a Reiki Master, and I had used Reiki on each other to help with small ailments, such as sore back, headaches, and nausea with good results. Little did we realize a more serious reason for using Reiki was at hand.

In February of 1999, I developed a large inflammation of the left lymph node and after repeated doses of antibiotics was sent to an ear, nose and throat specialist. Within two weeks I was scheduled for surgery to remove the node and determine what the problem was.

During the pre-surgery wait, Susan performed Reiki on me every day and I began using Reiki on myself whenever I felt pain or depression.

It seemed to lift my emotional level each time and reduce the swelling. The day of my surgery I sent distant Reiki to the hospital staff and the operating room. I went in anxious, but not nervous.

The surgery went well and the lymph node was removed and a scope procedure was done. We were told by the surgeon that the preliminary pathology report from the hospital looked good. We left the hospital that day, I’m sure with relief on our faces.

Two days later we received a call from the doctor’s office for us to come in immediately with no reason specified. We were told that one of the biopsies came back with signs of cancer cells and they were going to have to take another exploratory from my throat.

Reiki and Healing Our Ancestors

I love the way Reiki shines light into our healing process and that it goes deeper and is more far reaching as we grow. My awareness of the simplicities and the complexities of the healing process is growing keener every day. As we use Reiki to heal ourselves we become more aware of the vastness of our being.

I have found that, as I grow with Reiki, my understanding of what it means to be “one with all there is” expands. I realize now that my initial personal healing experiences were based on a very limited understanding of my connection to that oneness. Over the years Reiki has assisted me with wonderful mental and emotional healing by helping me recognize unhealthy thought patterns and emotional responses. Through that recognition I was then able to focus Reiki on developing a healthier way of being. Reiki has also helped me with physical healing and better understanding myself and my purpose in this life. Every day it seems as though Reiki has something else to teach me and I am able to move deeper into knowing how to BE who I truly am.

During this process I have become keenly aware of the energetic effect that my ancestors have on who I am, and also the energetic effect that I have on my children. I recognize now that I have been holding genetic coding from my ancestors, which affects my cellular memory, and in turn influences the patterns in my subtle energy system. Therefore, I make choices in my life based in part on the beliefs, experiences, feelings and thoughts of my ancestors.

Hello, my name is Judith Conroy and I’ve been practicing Reiki as an expert healer for ages, but that doesn’t matter, because we’re not here to talk about me.

We’re here to talk about YOU, and how YOU can indeed experience healing, and realize your true inner potential.

So, what do I do that’s so different from all other Reiki healers?

I found an effective, yet simple process of self-attuning called Chikara-Reiki-Do and it’s a process I’ve been fortunate enough to share with thousands.

You see, just about every other Reiki Master you’re likely to meet will say to you I have to give you Reiki – whereas I say to you… “You’ve already got it within you!”

For I firmly believe, YOU are the only power in your life and that you must acknowledge and own that power,

NOT let others take it away from you!

Now, I’m not sure how you arrived here at this point in your life where you’re interested in connecting with your inner being, with being more spiritual.

Whatever it is, I’m happy for you.

You see, I’ve been interested in metaphysics and spirituality for as long as I can remember. Plus, the lives of those considered to be true Masters and Sages have always fascinated me. I like the way they think, I like the way they act, I like the way they see ‘reality’ and I like the way they have always said, since time immemorial…

‘There is nothing you need to seek outside yourself, everything lies within’.

So, when I became interested in Reiki I looked at Mikao Usui, the father of modern-day Reiki, with the above saying at the forefront of my mind.

And I found, when I filtered out all the usual dogma associated with this kind of thing, that Usui had actually been on his own when he discovered (well, some say rediscovered) a way of accessing Reiki.

Yes, all kinds of fanciful tales had sprung up about how he’d been struck in the forehead by a strange light and seen coloured bubbles with symbols in them etc…

… BUT, I found the undeniable truth was actually THIS:

Usui had been completely on his own and had discovered Reiki inside himself.

He had truly accomplished what all the Masters and Sages have been encouraging us all to do – he’d found what he’d been looking for, and he’d found it within.

Now, as you can no doubt imagine, this struck a deep resonant chord within me – this was something which, for me, had the ring of authenticity…

…I just had to know more! So, in I plunged.

I went off and had my Reiki attunements in the traditional hands-on way which, at that time, was the only way of becoming attuned to Reiki that I knew of.

But knowing that everything comes from within and that nothing was actually being ‘given’ to me – I knew there had to be a better way of ‘activating’ or acknowledging my own Reiki energy for myself, just as Usui had done.

And that’s when I had my epiphany and gratefully created Chikara-Reiki-Do.

It has also allowed me to realise my longest held dream – that of helping others to become spirited LEADERS.

NOT spiritual followers.

Now, Chikara-Reiki-Do is not for everyone, of course.  You need to be someone who is, serious, willing to learn abundantly, follow instructions, share results, and practice.

The “sharing results” part is important because it helps us spread knowledge and be part of creating that exciting BIG consciousness shift already taking place today in our world.

Yes, on the surface it is a beautifully simple and powerful way of becoming a Reiki Master… but at its heart it’s all about personal autonomy…

…and that is my deepest wish for you.

This weekend a close friend of mine was really down after a big argument with her boyfriend in relation to her Reiki skills and practicing. She was crying to me, “He is so skeptical! He just can’t see how my gift is something we could share to make our relationship even stronger!” I was meditating on how I can help and advise her when I came across this article and shared it with her. I hope it helps her and all of you here.

Sharing Reiki As A Family

Reiki can be shared as a family. When thought of it this way, it would increase for you and makes you whole. Reiki can be shared not just with the rest of the members of your family but to others that are close to your heart.

Oftentimes, Reiki teachers and masters have families that don’t fully understand what Reiki really means and what it can do. But even so, if the members of your family are willing to support each other then eventually, Reiki will be theirs too. Family members who are willing to share in the beauty and power of Reiki can become open receivers of the gift. Spiritually speaking, Reiki can make any family grow stronger and more united not only in blood but in mind, heart, and soul as well.

Having a family that practices Reiki together is a blessing. In fact, the children are the more qualified receiver of this gift because of the purity of their mind and spirit. They can feel the energy going in and out of their system. By practicing Reiki together as a family, you can scan each other, determine which parts are in need, and provide the necessary healing for it.

Although Reiki is beneficial primarily for humans, it has qualities that make it an ideal complementary therapy for animals. Our animal companions bring so much to our lives. Their joy of living is an example to us. Their unconditional love is a model for how we should strive to live our own lives. By offering them Reiki healing we give something back to them for all that they have given to us.

Animals intuitively recognize and appreciate Reiki’s ability to heal and they often learn to seek it own on their own. They often respond more quickly to Reiki Healing than people do and positive results are usually seen in a relatively short period of time. I am thinking of Reiki for my own dog…why don’t you guys read this and tell me what you think

Reiki For Animals: How Can It Help?

Animals can be willing recipients of Reiki healing. Like humans, it is possible to channel your healing energy into your pet to relieve it of pain, discomfort, or illness.
It is also possible to use Reiki in the simple instances of patting, stroking, and touching.

Reiki can definitely make your pet better. If your loving touch and affection means well to them, how much greater will a healing touch of Reiki be? Reiki will draw your pets closer to you. It will create an unbreakable bond between you both. Furthermore, the practice can be used on animals that are not meant to be touched – from small fish to wild boars.
