Are ‘super foods ‘safe’ if they’re loaded with pesticides?
Are you concerned about pesticides in your produce? Are you wondering which foods should be organic ‘must-haves’ and which are ‘safe’ to eat non-organic? Well, if you’re like me, you probably read labels and pay attention to what you’re buying. Organic can be pricey, and sometimes you may want to opt for non-organic when possible. Me too.
This is why I was so happy when I came across a handy little guide at an awesome organic restaurant recently. It’s the ‘Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides’ made by the incomparably delicious organic Italian restaurant, Picazzo’s, in Sedona, Arizona.
Delicious pizza pies aside, I want to share with you what they call “The Dirty Dozen” most risky non-organic produce, and Their top, “Clean 15″. Here we go …

- Blueberries (superfood or not, conventional blueberries are loaded with pesticides and are better avoided)
